Makeup Brush Collection

If you didn’t know already, I love to do makeup. I am aspiring to be a makeup artist and currently have an Instagram showcasing all of my looks, take a peek at my photos and tell me what you think! @themakeupbybeth

With all the different liquids and powders I use in my makeup routine I need some good tools to blend everything together. Carry on reading to see my makeup brush collection, everything listed is very affordable and sold in either Boots, Superdrug and Beautybay.

Base

BH Cosmetics V3 – This brush is perfect for contour, it’s angled so it sits in the hollows of the cheeks and the super soft bristles allow the product to be blended beautifully.

B. Fan Brush – Just your standard fan brush, apparently these are frowned upon in the beauty community but I couldn’t give a damn. It’s cheap and does the job.

Real Techniques Blending Brush – great for applying contour to the hollows of the cheeks. I don’t really use it to blend, just to apply and stipple.

Zoeva 142 Concealer Brush – this brush is amazing for when I put concealer all over the lid, I use this just to buff everything out for a nice eyeshadow base.

Eyes

Zoeva 221 Luxe Crease – Beautifully blends out any harsh lines from the eyeshadows you’ve applied.

Zoeva 228 Luxe Crease – Very similar brush to the 221 it’s just slightly larger and has longer bristles.

Zoeva 234 Luxe Smoky Shader – I love using this to pat concealer out when I do a cut crease on the eye!

Spectrum Brushes B06 – Great blending brush for those harsh lines, all I can say.

Makeup Geek Defined Crease Brush – This little beauty of a brush is great for adding any eyeshadow to the outer V or defining the crease (hence the name). It’s smaller so it makes it easier to get into the tight depths of the crease.

Brows

Morphe E29 & Morphe E44 – These brushes are basically the same, it’s just the E44 is a tad bit slimmer so I love using both of these for my Benefit Kabrow pomade. They work fantastically with pomades.

Those were some of my fave brushes from my collection. I didn’t list every single one as I didn’t want the post to drag on. These brushes really are great, they don’t shed and last wash after wash. Hope you all enjoyed this one, take care. – Beth x
